Chase's Influences
"I've always felt that blues, rock 'n' roll and country are just about a beat apart."
- Waylon Jennings
Perhaps Waylon was indeed describing the blended style that is Chase Kroesche. Chase has found his place in a bluesy rock style with a modern edge that is unique.
Chase’s love of music and his talent, emerged at a very early age. After studying piano for several years, he began saxophone and voice training in elementary school. Hard work, dedication and opportunity quickly moved him ahead in jazz and improvisation and, soon, rock guitar became a new foundation of his musical exploration.
Chase has studied and performed everything from Broadway to Metal. He attended the Berklee College of Music Guitar Sessions on a merit scholarship and has won solo and combo honors at the Crescent Jazz Festival. He continues to study music and perform in Utah and in Los Angeles.
As a School of Rock West Coast Touring All-Star, Chase has performed all over the west, as well as with Earl Slick, guitarist for David Bowie, and Napoleon Murphy Brock, of Frank Zappa fame. He has performed for Disney officials at the Sundance Film Festival, for TBS Latin America executives, and at the NAMM Show in Los Angeles.
Chase currently performs as a solo artist and with his bands in and around Salt Lake City (however, he is available for booking anywhere).
“We do play to our audience. It's very important. You can't create music in a vacuum.” - Brian May
